What is Cartalax?

In this literature the peptide is designated AED, shorthand for the alanine–glutamate–aspartate sequence. Some research catalogs call it Cartalax. A PubMed-indexed paper studied AED alongside a cartilage polypeptide complex in cultured human mesenchymal stem cells. Those two test substances are different, and their findings should not be merged.

What has research examined?

In one published laboratory experiment, the researchers examined gene expression and protein synthesis of SOX9, aggrecan, type II collagen, and COMP in cultured human mesenchymal stem cells undergoing replicative aging. They reported increased expression of those chondrogenic markers under the studied AED cell-culture conditions. The paper proposes further osteoarthritis-model research; it did not demonstrate regenerated human cartilage, patient outcomes, or a validated Cartalax product.

Important limitation

A cell-culture marker response is not clinical efficacy. The name Cartalax on a vial does not independently establish AED sequence, concentration, or equivalence to the tested material. There is no established human or animal treatment, preparation, or use supported by this narrow record.
