Why there is no compound calculator on this page

The approved Egrifta WR product has exact-vial strength, diluent, and preparation instructions. A generic research-vial/U-100 calculator cannot replace product-specific labeling or validate a different vial.

Research overview

What is Tesamorelin?

Tesamorelin is a stabilized growth-hormone-releasing-hormone analogue. The FDA-approved product Egrifta WR is intended for a particular HIV-associated lipodystrophy context, not a generic cosmetic or physique goal. It differs from Sermorelin and CJC-1295.

What has research examined?

A randomized trial in 404 adults with HIV-associated excess abdominal fat found lower visceral-adipose-tissue measurement with tesamorelin than placebo. FDA-submitted Egrifta WR labeling defines product-specific indications and explicitly says it is not for weight-loss management. Trial results do not certify separately sourced research powder.

Important limitation

HIV-specific outcomes and exact-product labeling cannot be generalized. No dosing, treatment, or preparation advice is given.
