What is CJC-1295 with DAC?
CJC-1295 with DAC is a modified growth-hormone-releasing-hormone analogue incorporating an albumin-binding drug-affinity complex. Its covalent association with endogenous albumin was investigated to extend exposure. The presence of DAC distinguishes it from the “no DAC” supplier term; studies of one form cannot be assigned to the other.
What has research examined?
Two randomized, placebo-controlled ascending-dose studies measured hormone and pharmacokinetic endpoints in healthy adults. The reported mean GH and IGF-I biomarkers rose after studied CJC-1295 exposure, and the reported estimated half-life was several days. A separate study examined growth-hormone pulsatility under sustained exposure. These are surrogate endocrine endpoints, not controlled evidence of a patient-centered benefit. FDA flags possible immunogenicity and peptide-related impurity characterization problems for compounded CJC-1295, limited clinical data, and reports of serious events such as increased heart rate and systemic vasodilatory reaction.
Small, short studies in healthy adults do not establish long-term safety or a disease-treatment effect. The investigated substance and formulation are not automatically equivalent to a seller’s vial. This page does not recommend hormone modulation, preparation, administration, or any amount.
