What is Ipamorelin?
Ipamorelin is a short ghrelin-receptor agonist designed to stimulate growth-hormone release. It is different from CJC-1295, which is a growth-hormone-releasing-hormone analogue. The studies below tested ipamorelin alone in defined settings and do not validate a combination sold by a supplier.
What has research examined?
A human-volunteer study modeled pharmacokinetic and growth-hormone concentration responses after studied ipamorelin exposure. A later multicenter randomized, placebo-controlled proof-of-concept study evaluated a distinct clinical endpoint: postoperative bowel recovery after resection. The clinical trial did not demonstrate a convincing primary-endpoint benefit. FDA flags potential peptide aggregation/impurity and immunogenicity risks for proposed compounded ipamorelin acetate and notes serious adverse events, including death, in the intravenous gastric-motility study without established causality.
Neither a GH biomarker response nor a clinical trial for ileus demonstrates muscle gain or safe unsupervised use. FDA says safety information for other proposed injectable routes is insufficient; a supplier’s vial is not equivalent to the studied product. This page gives no amount or use instruction.
