Research overview
What is Orforglipron?
Orforglipron engages the GLP-1 receptor through a non-peptide small-molecule structure. FDA-approved Foundayo is a particular manufactured oral tablet product with its own indication, labeling, and safety warnings. A supplier vial with the same name is not automatically an approved product.
What has research examined?
The placebo-controlled phase 3 ATTAIN-2 trial studied oral orforglipron in adults with obesity and type 2 diabetes using body-weight outcomes. FDA subsequently approved Foundayo for specified adult weight management alongside dietary and activity measures. Its label includes a boxed thyroid C-cell tumor warning. These tablet studies do not support a powder-vial injectable use.
Product-specific evidence, contraindications, and approval do not transfer to unregulated research material. No prescription treatment, oral regimen, syringe conversion, or preparation advice is provided.

Calculation boundary
Orforglipron is a small-molecule oral tablet drug, not a peptide injection or reconstitution vial. The approved Foundayo tablet label cannot be replaced with a U-100 syringe visualization.
