Research overview
What is Tesofensine?
Tesofensine inhibits reuptake of several monoamine neurotransmitters in experimental pharmacology. It is grouped with peptides by some supplier catalogs despite not being a peptide. It is not chemically or clinically interchangeable with GLP-1 agonists.
What has research examined?
A phase 2 randomized placebo-controlled study in 203 adults with obesity examined body weight, composition, and quality-of-life measures with studied oral tesofensine alongside dietary intervention. The study cannot certify a differently sourced material, route, or long-term risk profile.
Early trial outcomes do not establish an approved weight-management product or safe unsupervised use. No amount, preparation, or route is advised.

Calculation boundary
The trial investigated an oral small molecule, not a vial-based injectable peptide. A U-100 syringe chart would imply an unstudied product and route.
