What is Noopept?

Noopept is also called GVS-111 or omberacetam. It is a modified dipeptide-derived small molecule rather than a simple unmodified two-amino-acid peptide. Experimental comparisons to other nootropics do not establish clinical equivalence.

What has research examined?

A mouse olfactory-bulbectomy model measured spatial-memory and selected antibody responses after studied Noopept. Rat passive-avoidance experiments also reported effects after oral delivery. These are behavioral tasks in animals, not controlled evidence of improved cognition or Alzheimer outcomes in humans.

Important limitation
